A sound bath is a meditative experience where participants are “bathed” in healing sounds. Singing bowls, tuning forks, chimes, and other instruments are used to create vibrations that affect the energy within the body. The relaxing environment allows participants to rest and restore their connection to themselves.
Finding ways to be still and quiet our minds may be challenging. A sound bath can be an easy introduction to meditation as the vibrations provide an opportunity for the body to relax and allow the mind to calm.
Sound healing can help to release tension, calm the nervous system and promote a state of deep relaxation. Allowing the body to rest encourages ease, restoration, and an overall state of well-being.
It's simple - just get as comfortable as possible. There is nothing else for you to do! The session begins with a brief guided meditation. Most participants lie down on a yoga mat and use pillows, blankets, eye masks, and other items to get comfortable and enjoy the healing vibrations.
